Scope​

Accessibility is a first-class feature for a neurodiversity-affirming product. Per-member a11y preferences include: reduced motion toggle, text scale, high-contrast mode, screen-reader semantic enhancements, a focus mode (minimal UI), and an optional dyslexia-friendly font. Preferences can be per-member (server-synced) or per-device (local).

Open questions​

  • Which preferences are device-local vs server-synced across devices for the same member?
  • What dyslexia font is used — OpenDyslexic (free) or a licensed alternative?
  • Does reduced motion affect the visual timer's animation — and what is the fallback?
  • Should focus mode suppress the token/money UI entirely for children with PDA profiles?
