Scope​

When currencyPerToken > 0, a member can request a real-money payout of their token balance (or a portion). Requires payment processing (Stripe or similar), parental approval, and a minimum threshold. Regulatory implications are non-trivial — defer until the product has validated the token economy first.

Open questions​

  • Who approves a cash-out — the admin/parent, or is it automatic above a threshold?
  • What payment rail — bank transfer, prepaid card (Greenlight-style), gift cards?
  • Are there regulatory implications (money transmission license) for facilitating child payouts?
  • Is cash-out a paid-tier feature only, or available to all households using currencyPerToken?
