Family calendar

Scope​

A shared calendar showing recurring chore schedules, activity-gate windows (e.g. screen-time unlocked Saturday 3–5 PM), and family events. Skylight directly competes here. The question is whether Rewhaven builds a calendar or recommends an external tool. This requires an explicit product decision before any build work.

Open questions​

  • DECISION REQUIRED: build a calendar surface or explicitly recommend Skylight/Google Calendar integration?
  • If built: view-only (generated from chore schedules) or full admin CRUD event creation?
  • If integrated: which calendar services (Google, Apple) and what is the OAuth surface?
  • Does activity-gating time-of-day logic require a calendar model, or is it simpler (day-of-week window)?
