Scope​

A referral system where existing users share a link or code; new sign-ups via that code credit the referrer (incentive TBD). Low priority until there is product-market fit and a growth need. COPPA implications for referral data must be reviewed.

Open questions​

  • What is the referrer incentive — free months, premium features, credits?
  • How is referral attribution tracked without violating COPPA (no minor tracking)?
  • Deep link strategy — universal links or a short URL service?
  • Is this a paid-tier-only feature (only paid users can refer)?
